Waka Flocka Flame Surrenders to Police on Drug, Gun Charges
Juaquin James Malphurs, the rapper better known as Waka Flocka Flame, turned himself in to police in Henry County, Georgia yesterday on a variety of gun and drug charges.
Waka Flocka Flame’s Home Raided; DMX Sentenced
It’s been a rough month for Waka. On December 16th, his home in Atlanta was raided by authorities searching for weapons and guns. His associate Gucci Mane and mother Deb Antney were detained during the search. Antney, who manages both rappers, has denied that the raid is related to the allegation that she is the ringleader of a prostitution ring.

Malphurs has been charged with possession of marijuana and another unnamed controlled substance, violating probation for driving on a suspended license, violating Georgia’s anti-gang laws and possessing a firearm by a convicted felon as well as a firearm during a crime. He was previously on probation for possessing a sawed-off shotgun. For the latest charges, his bond has been set at over $31,000.
