Jimmy Fallon, ‘Glee’ Cast Spoof Springsteen at Emmys
Last night at the Emmy Awards, host Jimmy Fallon led a group that included Tina Fey, Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm and castmembers from Glee in a funny, Glee-style rendition of Bruce Springsteen‘s “Born to Run.” This wasn’t the first Springsteen-inspired song-and-dance for the Glee kids: Earlier this year the show featured his live favorite “Fire.”

Fallon, who does a dead-on Neil Young, tackled three more artists at this year’s ceremony: Elton John (with “Candle in the Wind”), Boyz II Men (“It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday”) and Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong (“Good Riddance [Time of Your Life]”). The three songs were dedicated, respectively, to 24, Law & Order and Lost, all of which ended this year.
