Stone Sour Warp Reality in ‘Absolute Zero’ – Premiere
Iowa rockers Stone Sour released the first installment of their two-album series, House of Gold and Bones, on October 22nd on Roadrunner Records. Now you can check out their brand-new clip for the first single, “Absolute Zero,” which shows a man trapped inside a graffiti-covered room, his body getting twisted and warped as he struggles to make a truly impossible decision.
“‘Absolute Zero’ is the anti-hero anthem of House of Gold and Bones Part One,” frontman Corey Taylor tells Rolling Stone. “It essentially lets you know that the hero isn’t perfect, but he will do whatever is necessary. The video is loosely based on the fact that in the short story, the hero ends up in a very strange world and he has to figure out what’s going on and what he’ll do.”
