On April 3rd, the Screaming Females will release their fifth studio album, Ugly. The first single is the raw, upbeat “It All Means Nothing,” and it will be released on Saturday, February 11th at the Don Giovanni Records Showcase in Brooklyn.
Though “It All Means Nothing” is not out yet, the Screaming Females have been playing it live for a while, and the song has quickly become a fan favorite. “As we played ‘It All Means Nothing’ live over the last year or so, people would regularly come up to us and say, ‘That song has to be the first single from your next record,'” drummer Jarret Doughtery says. “We’ve never had anything like that happen. It was coming from friends, strangers and other bands. It made the choice for the first single easy.”
The physical single of “It All Means Nothing” will be available at the Screaming Females’ upcoming record store tour dates, but it is exclusively streaming on RollingStone.com. The rest of the tour dates are below:
