Week in Review: Kanye and Jay-Z Dazzle with ‘Watch the Throne’
After months of hype and anticipation, Jay-Z and Kanye West released their album-length collaboration Watch the Throne on Sunday evening in order to avoid a leak. We went through the album track-by-track and gave the disc a very positive review. Hopefully this will help Kanye to ease up on his persecution complex, which flared up big time a day before the album dropped when he claimed he was as hated as Hitler at a concert in England.

Rolling Stone also talked to Noel Gallagher, Matthew Sweet, Cee Lo Green, Alice Cooper and Tinie Tempah about their upcoming records, found out that Justin Bieber is a pretty good rapper from David Banner and went behind the scenes of the Gathering of the Juggalos.
Plus, country rockers Old 97’s performed a brief set at our office, chef-turned-rapper Action Bronson was named our latest Artist to Watch, we analyzed this week’s pop charts, looked back on this week in rock history and, as always, we reviewed all the week’s biggest new releases.
