NOFX, Black Tide, Gallows, Bad Religion Lead 2009 Vans Warped Tour
Bad Religion, 3OH!3, Flogging Molly, Bayside, Thrice and many more of punk, emo and metal’s finest will band together for this year’s Vans Warped Tour as the migratory festival celebrates its 15th anniversary. To mark a decade and a half of punk-rock summer camp, this year’s lineup has old school headbangers like Flipper, Fishbone, the Dickies and DOA sharing the stage with newer acts like Black Tide, Gallows, Ivy League, Senses Fail and Jeffree Star. Bridging the age gap are vets like Less Than Jake, Anti-Flag, Bouncing Souls and many more. Unlike in years past, this time there will only be one main stage instead of two (and the 10 bands’ sets on that stage will run 40 minutes each), so making the painstaking decision between the Ataris and Shooter Jennings won’t be an issue.
The 46-date tour kicks off June 26th in Pomona, California, and figure-eights itself around the country before concluding 45 shows later on August 23rd in Carson, California. Presale tickets come bundled with a Warped comp and go on sale April 1st for around $25 on a revamped Warped Website that relaunches that day; the regular onsale date is April 18th. Rolling Stone‘s exclusively got the entire list of bands, dates and venues, so click after the jump to find out when the fest hits your hometown.
