Justin Bieber to Appear on ‘The Simpsons’
Justin Bieber will be making his very own cameo on The Simpsons, Entertainment Weekly reports. The singer tweeted yesterday afternoon, “just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy,” but later deleted the tweet. Simpsons executive producer Al Jean confirmed Bieber’s guest spot, and revealed a tidbit about the storyline. “He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won’t admit him,” Jean said. But he also made clear the spot is just a cameo, so Beliebers shouldn’t anticipate a Bieber-themed installment.
The episode has been titled “The Fabulous Faker Boy” and is set to air in 2013 as part of the upcoming 24th season of the The Simpsons, which begins September 30th on Fox. Other musical stars recently featured on the show include Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Ted Nugent and David Byrne. Zooey Deschanel, Edward Norton, Steve Carrell, Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman are among guests slated for the upcoming season.
