Lady Gaga Opens VMAs With ‘Yoü and I’
The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards opened with a “Grease” wannabe pounding the piano in a slick pompadour and a grubby white T-shirt. Actually, it was Lady Gaga‘s male alter ego, Jo Calderone, with Queen’s Brian May on guitar, performing a dramatic rendition of “Yoü and I,” a track off her latest album Born This Way.
