Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar Bring ‘It’s On Again’ to ‘Tonight Show’
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 supergroup hit The Tonight Show on Friday to perform the soundtrack song “It’s On Again,” bringing Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Johnny Marr, Hans Zimmer and AraabMuzik together on the same stage for the track’s first television performance.

Kendrick Lamar opened the song, delivering his intense, rapid-fire verse while crouching at the front of the stage. With a markedly contrasting demeanor, Alicia Keys sat coolly at the piano as her vocals took over the song, eventually emerging from behind the instrument to command center stage.
The track was produced by Pharrell Williams, and Hans Zimmer recently talked about their creative process for the soundtrack, and working with what he calls the “garage band,” in an interview with Rolling Stone. “We were this pressure cooker,” Zimmer said. “Having all this talent in the room, there were ideas flying around all the time. They weren’t just about music. They were about story, they were about all sorts of things.”
Zimmer also relayed some advice that he gave to the group: “Remember what it was like being in your first band,” Zimmer told them. “We can all get back there. As soon as we put a microphone there, there’s a purity that happens.”
