Jake Shears and Babydaddy of the Scissor Sisters have signed on to pen the music for a movie based on Jim Henson’s classic Fraggle Rock television series. The movie, which will be helmed by writer-director Cory Edwards, is expected to hit theaters sometime next year. UPDATE: The Jim Henson Company has informed Rolling Stone that no deal with the Scissor Sisters in place, though conversations are ongoing with several possibilities to score the film. [Guardian]
