Damian Lazarus Gets Lost in Miami: See His Photo Diary
This year's Crosstown Rebels' Get Lost party at Miami Music Week packed a wallup: nearly 40 acts performed despite some gnarly rains that forced Damian Lazarus' crew to play under makeshift awnings. But the party could — and did — go on, and Lazarus captured his wild trip in this photo gallery:
"The legendary DJ Sasha opening Get Lost at 5 a.m. The party is one of the only afterhours in Miami during WMC, having opened its doors at 5 a.m. every year for the last nine years. Strange how the camera angle separates Sasha’s laser beam eyes from the actual lasers, but it happened, and it still looks pretty cool."

"Pete Tong graces the decks at Get Lost for the first time. Pete is such a strong supporter of the underground electronic movement, I felt he should play at this year's event. Here you can see an example of Pete’s obsession with tiny colored buttons."

"Every year at Get Lost there are unannounced special guests who come and deliver the goods like Jackmaster. Here you can see he's pleased with his performance, and is getting a workout holding up his wrist with innumerable wristbands. Mateo is congratulating him on a job well done."

"Opening up the garden at 10 a.m., New York-based Bob Moses proved why they are one of the hottest acts in dance music right now. They seem to be confusing the mic with a beer, but it’s been a long week, and we’re all happy they made it this far."
