Black Eyed Peas Reschedule Free Show in Central Park
The Black Eyed Peas have rescheduled their free benefit concert at Central Park's Great Lawn to September 30th after a severe lightning storm forced the pop group to cancel the show on its original date in June. The 54,000 ticket holders for the original event will now be able to claim new tickets.

The show, which was originally set to include appearances by Taylor Swift, LL Cool J, MC Hammer, Carole King and Whoopi Goldberg, will benefit Robin Hood, a charity organization focused on fighting poverty in New York City. The event is also a fund raiser for the Peas' Peapod Music and Arts Academies, which are designed to help disadvantaged and foster children. As of yet there is no word as to whether or not any of the planned guests for the June show will make it to the new date.
