Chris Brown Wins Big at BET Awards
Chris Brown was the big winner at the BET Awards on Sunday, taking home statues for Male R&B Artist and Collaboration, Video of the Year and Viewer’s Choice for “Look At Me Now,” his single with Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. Brown’s triumph was mitigated by some rather extreme awkwardness. When the Viewer’s Choice award was given out, it was accidentally presented to the singer’s ex-girlfriend Rihanna and Drake accepted on her behalf. Later in the show, it was revealed that Brown was the actual winner.
Other winners of the night included Kanye West and Nicki Minaj for Best Male and Female Hip-Hop Artist respectively, Rihanna for Female R&B Artist, a tie between siblings Willow and Jaden Smith for Young Star and Michael Vick, who recently returned to football following a 19-month stay in federal prison for his involvement in a dog-fighting ring, for Best Sportsman.
