Barbra Streisand Dismisses Romney as ‘Chameleon’
Barbra Streisand scoffed at GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center last night, saying, “I love Big Bird and I hope no one tells Romney how to get to Sesame Street . . . or to Pennsylvania Avenue,” according to the Huffington Post. Although Romney also said “I love Big Bird” last week at the first presidential debate, the GOP presidential hopeful made his declaration in the context of a promise to cut funding for PBS.
“He’s a good actor,” Streisand added. “[He’s] a chameleon. It’s great.” Streisand had made a very similar “Big Bird” comment at a Philadelphia show earlier this week, according to USA Today.
Streisand is currently developing the film Skinny and Cat, her first directorial project in 16 years.
