Odd Future Reveal Release, Tour Dates
Odd Future announced a handful of album release dates and a fall tour on their website today.
Domo Genesis will kick off the new string of albums with the release of his No Idols on August 1st. On October 2nd, MellowHype – the duo comprised of Left Brain and Hodgy Beats – will release Numbers, and Wolf, the follow-up to Tyler, the Creator‘s 2011 breakout, Goblin, is slated for sometime in November, though no exact date has been given yet.
Odd Future Records will also put out the new album from Los Angeles punk act Trash Talk, 119, which now has a release date of October 9th.
Starting at the end of August, the collective will head out on their Camp Flog Gnaw tour, which will take them across the U.S. While dates have been announced for the tour, venues have not.
As the group noted on their site, they’ll be hitting a lot of cities they have yet to play. They also promised something special for the last show on September 30th: “Last show is in Los Angeles with an OF carnival and some special shit happening there. Yes, we said carnival.”
The troublemaking collective released their Odd Future Mixtape, Vol. 2 back in March, while OF affiliate Frank Ocean has been, well, everywhere following the release of his debut, Channel Orange. You can check out the group going to war in the clip directed by Tyler, the Creator for “Sam (Is Dead)” from the second OF tape here.
