98 Degrees Reunite on ‘Today’
Pop band 98 Degrees reunited this morning on Today, performing together for the first time in 10 years. The band busted out beloved hits “Because Of You, “I Do” and “Hardest Thing,” but say they’ve evolved from “boy band” into “man band” and compared the reunion to riding a bike.
“It’s great to be back together and do what we love to do together on stage,” said Nick Lachey, while brother Drew joked, “There’s back pain, throat pain, knee pain, ankle pain, hip pain. Our menu went from like steak and lobster to Metamucil and prune juice.”
98 Degrees plays the Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania, tomorrow. Last month, Drew Lachey told Rolling Stone the band will write new music in the studio following the Hershey show with hopes of a full tour in the future.
