Snoop Dogg Promotes New Beverage That May Be Banned
Snoop Dogg is promoting a new caffeinated alcoholic beverage called Blast that is facing the threat of being banned a month before it hits stores. The product, which is part of the Colt 45 family of drinks and is manufactured by Pabst Brewing Company, has a 12 percent alcohol content for each 23.5 ounce container and will come in a variety of fruity flavors.

Much like Four Loko, which was recently banned in New York and other states, Blast is being criticized for being nearly indistinguishable from soft drinks and encouraging binge drinking among young people. The Food and Drug Administration has also warned that caffeinated alcohol drinks are unsafe, leading to brands such as Four Loko and Sparks to put out non-caffeinated versions of their beverages.
In this video released last month, Snoop Dogg frolics with models at a photo shoot to promote the launch of Blast.
