Kanye West Tweets Artwork for ‘Watch the Throne’ Single
Delivering on his New Year’s Eve promise to release the first single from Watch The Throne in the next week, Kanye West tweeted an image of the cover art for the single “H.A.M.” from his collaborative disc with Jay-Z next to the release date of January 11th. Kanye and Jay-Z have spent much of the last few months working on the album in studios across the world, including Peter Gabriel’s studio in Bath England, as well as France and Australia.
“The album is pretty close to being done,” Jay-Z said in a November radio interview. “We had fireworks going on while we worked on it. There’s going to be 10 songs on the album and there was a bunch of producers working on it, but it’s too early to say any more.” The LP is expected to hit stores in February or March.

In other Kanye news, the rapper is being sued by photographer Michael Vazquez over an alleged 2008 assault at a event celebrating the 25th anniversary of Casio’s G-Shock watch in New York City. Vazquez is claiming that he was “assaulted, battered, beat and threatened” by West’s bodyguards and West himself. “The actions by defendants Kanye West‘s agents, servants and/or employees was committed with malice,” said the suit, according to a report in the New York Daily News.
