Gregg Allman Clears Heart Tests, Set for Book Tour
Gregg Allman has been cleared to begin a book tour in support of his memoir My Cross to Bear after passing a series of heart tests at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida last week, the Associated Press reports. The book hit stores yesterday, but the musician was forced to put off scheduled appearances on The Colbert Report and Piers Morgan Tonight. Allman will begin his book-signing tour on May 8th.
Allman will be hitting the road this summer with the Allman Brothers Band. The group announced their full tour itinerary yesterday, as follows:
