The actor who will play Lex Luthor has become the subject of several rumors, the most recent of which involves Joaquin Phoenix. THR also Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa is being considered for a role for the movie.
The film is scheduled to open on July 17th, 2015, and the director has already reportedly shot some exterior scenes. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in Michigan next year and will be finished in August.
