‘The Voice’ Doubles Down on Celebrity Mentors for Second Season
The NBC show “The Voice” has announced a fresh new intake of big-name talent for its second season.
Each of the show’s star panelists, who mentor their chosen teammates through the season’s singing competition, will now be joined by two new celebrity advisors from the music industry. Cee Lo Green will get some help from Ne-Yo and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will be working with Alanis Morissette and Robin Thicke, and Christina Aguilera will be joined by Jewel and Lionel Richie. Blake Shelton has brought on two veterans of reality singing competitions – his wife, Miranda Lambert, and Kelly Clarkson.
The new season premiers on February 5.
