Brittany Howard Trio Bermuda Triangle Announce 2018 Tour
New “super” trio Bermuda Triangle have made serious waves among Americana and rock fans upon first announcing their formation in mid-summer 2017. Comprising Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, Becca Mancari and Jesse Lafser, the band made their live debut at Nashville venue the Basement East in July and have been a closely watched act ever since.
Not wasting any time in 2018, the Nashville-based trio just announced plans to head out west on a string of tour dates kicking off February 3rd in West Hollywood, California. The nine-date run will wrap up April 6th in Dallas, Texas.
Bermuda Triangle currently has two recorded songs in their catalog: “Rosey” and “Suzanne.” The first served as the trio’s debut and marries gentle strings with rich vocal harmonies, while the latter, featuring Howard on lead vocals, incorporates a healthy dose of soul and even a bit of bossa nova, with jazzy minor chords and a propulsive programmed beat.
Liz Cooper and the Stampede will join Bermuda Triangle on tour stops in Texas. Check out the full list of dates below.
