Jason Isbell Joins ‘Amanda Shires & Friends’ Voter Registration Event
Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires, Cory Branan, Ruston Kelly and special surprise guests will take the stage for “Raising Our Voices: An Evening to Benefit HeadCount,” Tuesday, May 23rd at Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley. Billed as Amanda Shires and Friends, the concert event’s proceeds will benefit HeadCount, a national non-partisan organization which uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy.
Billed as the first of an ongoing series of concerts designed to educate and empower, as well as engage, the evening is also being presented by Nashville United, a cadre of music-industry professionals whose mission is to promote “liberty, equality and justice through one of our state’s most valuable resources: music.”
