Watch Bobby Bare’s Humorous ‘Things Change’ Video
Bobby Bare muses about the modern conveniences of the 21st century but hangs on to some of the traditions and treasures of the previous one in the breezy “Things Change” video. The song serves as the title cut from the songwriting legend’s upcoming album, out May 26th.
Directed by the head of the Hypermedia record label, Max T. Barnes, who is also the songwriter behind hits by Randy Travis, John Anderson, Collin Raye and more, the clip finds Bare shopping for guitars, performing on stage and hanging out backstage with Tanya Tucker, Hank Williams Jr., Alabama’s Randy Owen and producer Don Was. In a sweet nod to Bare’s longtime pal, late songwriter and author Shel Silverstein, the Country Music Hall of Fame member is seen showing off a weathered acoustic guitar with a printed label on the headstock reading “Shel.”
