See Dustin Lynch’s Energetic ‘Small Town Boy’ on ‘Kimmel’
Dustin Lynch gave an animated performance of his latest single “Small Town Boy” last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live’s stage in Los Angeles. The song is the second release from Lynch’s as-yet-unnamed follow-up to 2014’s Where It’s At.
Lynch, wearing a Matt Damon t-shirt (an allusion to one of the host’s most famous running bits), delivered a lively show despite the constraints of such a small stage. It’s understandable: The Tullahoma, Tennessee, native is gearing up for a nine-date North American run with Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots Tour, beginning April 20th in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Lynch also performed previous hit “Seein’ Red” during his visit to Kimmel. Watch it below.
But Lynch’s trip to the Coast wasn’t all business. He and Kelly Osbourne rekindled speculation about their relationship by posting a picture on Twitter of what appears to be an anniversary celebration, accompanied by the caption “Shhhhhh.” He later tweeted a screen grab of Urban Dictionary’s definition of “friendaversary.”
While no further information is available about Lynch’s upcoming album, the singer has described the project as “very sexy.” This weekend, Lynch heads to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he’ll perform as part of the Tortuga Music Festival.
