ACM Awards 2017: The Complete Winners List
Jason Aldean was presented with the ACM Awards’ top prize on Sunday night, taking home the Entertainer of the Year honor for a second consecutive year.
“You guys don’t know how much I love getting up and doing what I do every day,” he said, acknowledging fellow Entertainer nominees Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban.
“I have nothing but respect for all you guys,” he continued. “Such an amazing group of artists, I’m just glad to get to be a part of it.”
Aldean previously won the Male Vocalist of the Year award in 2012, 2013 and 2014, taking home his first Entertainer honor at last year’s show.
Earlier in the show, Miranda Lambert was a dual winner, collecting her record eighth Female Vocalist of the Year as well as the Album of the Year prize for The Weight of These Wings. Meanwhile, Thomas Rhett took home awards for Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year, and the all-star collaboration “Forever Country” was presented with the Video of the Year honor. Little Big Town won their third consecutive Vocal Group of the Year award, and ACM New Vocal Duo of the Year Brothers Osborne got the overall Vocal Duo of the Year prize.
In three “new artist” categories announced in March, Maren Morris was named New Female Vocalist of the Year, Jon Pardi won New Male Vocalist and Brothers Osborne took home New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year.
