Hear Rick Ross’ Bustling New Song ‘Trap Trap Trap’ With Young Thug, Wale
Days after Rick Ross detailed his new LP Better You Than Me, the rapper dropped “Trap Trap Trap,” featuring Young Thug and Wale. “Trap Trap Trap” follows recent Ross singles “Summer 17” and “I Think She Like Me.”
“I’m the wrong one to rob/ In the jungle I’m Nas/ In the label I’m Russ/ In the trap I’m Rick Ross,” the rapper says on the bustling track, with Young Thug and Ross’ Maybach protégé Wale also bringing spirited verses to “Trap Trap Trap.”
Ross announced his new album Rather You Than Me earlier this week with some help from Martha Stewart, who revealed that the album would arrive March 17th. The LP features guests like Future, Nas, Meek Mill, Chris Rock, Gucci Mane, Raphael Saadiq, Ty Dolla $ign and Young Jeezy.
“I hope y’all feel this. Listen to the message, relate to the story, feel the pain and struggle in these lyrics – but more importantly, understand that there is a greater life on the other side of the nightmares,” the rapper in an open letter about the new album. “It’s all for a purpose. It’s all for the better. I’m living proof. Boss shit!”
