CMA Music Festival: Eric Church, Miranda Lambert Lead 2017 Lineup
The CMA Music Festival has announced its 2017 lineup. More than 100 artists will perform at stages around Nashville over the four-day event, held June 8th through 11th.
Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton and Maren Morris are all scheduled to perform at the festival’s centerpiece concerts: the nightly all-star lineups at Nissan Stadium. Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brett Eldredge, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Chris Young and Cole Swindell are also tapped for the main stage.
And just revealed: country vets Kenny Rogers, Trace Adkins, John Anderson and Tracy Lawrence will each open respective nights at Nissan Stadium.
The move to the football stadium stage for Maren Morris reflects just how quickly her career has taken off since last year’s CMA Fest, when she performed a daytime set at the Riverfront Stage. This year, artists like Lauren Alaina, A Thousand Horses, Chris Janson, Brandy Clark, Luke Combs and Jon Pardi will grace the stage on the Cumberland River, while Aaron Watson, Kristian Bush, Clare Dunn, Lindsay Ell, Lillie Mae, Jo Smith and The Voice winner Sundance Head will play other stages around town.
Go to the festival’s website to see the full lineup. A select number of tickets are still available.
Country music’ premier festival will also be filmed for an accompanying ABC television special, airing later this summer.
