See Maren Morris’ Celebratory Cameo on ‘NCIS: New Orleans’
It’s already been a big week for Maren Morris, who won her first Grammy Award at last night’s ceremony. Next up, she’ll also appear on an episode of CBS’s NCIS: New Orleans on February 14th.
In the episode (titled “Pandora’s Box II”) Morris, playing herself, delivers an acoustic version of Hero single “My Church” in real-life swanky Roosevelt Hotel establishment the Sazerac Bar, as onlookers in Mardi Gras masks sip champagne. According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, the episode is about a search for “missing terrorist playbook.”
Morris won Best Country Solo Performance Grammy for “My Church.” She was nominated in three other categories, including Best New Artist. She performed a massive rendition of Hero cut “Once” alongside Alicia Keys, the two artists trading verses beneath ornate chandeliers. They first performed together during an episode of CMT Crossroads that aired in late 2016.
