Hear Tim McGraw, Faith Hill’s Uplifting New Duet
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill first worked together on McGraw’s 1996 Spontaneous Combustion Tour, later becoming husband and wife and recording their first duet “It’s Your Love.” Now, the country couple has combined talents for the soundtrack to the upcoming movie The Shack, in which McGraw stars.
The Shack, adapted from William P. Young’s novel, relates the story of a man’s crisis of faith and battle with depression after a life-altering tragedy and features the couple’s new song “Keep Your Eyes on Me.” McGraw and Hill teamed up with Lori McKenna and Shane McAnally to write the tune, earning their first co-write as a couple in the process. The ethereal love ballad showcases the duo exchanging lines, culminating with a soaring chorus and dramatic orchestral flourishes. Hill and McGraw are in good company on the film’s soundtrack, which also features Lady Antebellum, Brett Eldredge and others. The soundtrack will be available February 24th, with the film arriving March 3rd.
McGraw and Hill’s collaboration will continue through this year, as their joint Soul2Soul Tour kicks off April 7th in New Orleans. This trek marks the 10th anniversary of their Soul2Soul II Tour, along with the 20th anniversary of their first tour together. They’re also due to be the focus of a new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, opening November 17th.
