Watch Conor McGregor’s Hilarious New Training Regimen
Are you ready to see what Conor McGregor has been up to since he announced he’s left the UFC world to become a full-time jockey?
In the second episode of the Pegasus World Cup Invitational’s short film series, comedian Jon Lovitz subjects McGregor to a new and rather unusual training regimen to help him become the best jockey in all the land. The only problem: Lovitz is more interested in giving himself a chance to win a million dollars that giving McGregor his undivided attention, which doesn’t sit well with the (former) UFC star.
McGregor: The least you could do is pay attention to me while I’m busting my ass!
Lovitz: Well, you’re not the only one who is going to win $12 million at the races. I’m playing Pegasus Win-Win. You just enter the sweepstakes online. Top prize is a million bucks.
McGregor: I shite a million bucks every morning.
Lovitz: That must be painful.
McGregor then loses his cool before calling Lovitz a “gobshite” – basically another way of calling someone out for talking a lot of shit. So really, this is just like a McGregor press conference only with a comedian and some horses involved.
The third episode of the series is scheduled for release on January 18th and will feature McGregor picking out his silks for the race day. The final episode will air on the NBC race day broadcast on January 28th, so we’ll soon find out if McGregor has what it takes to be a jockey.
