The Lox Plot ‘Filthy America … It’s Beautiful’ U.S. Tour
Hip-hop stalwarts the Lox – Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P – will embark on a U.S. tour in support of their new album, Filthy America … It’s Beautiful.
The trio will kick off their trek February 25th with a previously announced gig with Lil Kim, Remy Ma and Cardi B at the Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania. The following night they’ll hit the Fillmore Silver Spring in Silver Springs, Maryland then play shows in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, New York and more before wrapping April 8th at Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore. Tickets for all shows go on sale January 27th via Live Nation.
Prior to their tour, the Lox will play the Bulb Room at Studio Square in Long Island City on January 29th and the Emporium in Patchogue, New York February 3rd.
The Lox released Filthy America last December, marking their third LP but also first in 16 years. After forming in 1994, the group was linked to Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Records and scored a hit with their 1998 debut, Money, Power and Respect, and its title-track. After a legal battle with Bad Boy, the group jumped to Ruff Ryders Records for their 2000 follow-up, We Are the Streets, before its members disbanded to embark on solo careers. In 2013, the Lox reunited for a surprise EP, The Trinity.
