Hear Rascal Flatts’ Surging New Song ‘Yours If You Want It’
Rascal Flatts are kicking off the New Year with new music. The country trio just released a new single, “Yours If You Want It,” the lead single from a forthcoming album. The poppy new song, which was co-written by Andrew Dorff and Jonathan Singleton, showcases the band’s vocal harmonies and knack for sing-along hooks.
Dorff, a beloved Nashville songwriter who also penned hits for Blake Shelton and Kenny Chesney, died unexpectedly at the age of 40 last month. In a statement shared with the release of the track, Jay DeMarcus said, “We’ve been working really hard and we’re very proud of this track and what’s more, the late Andrew Dorff is a writer on it, and we are so honored to be a small part of making sure his legacy lives on. We have a special angel watching over it, for sure.”
As of January 6, “Yours If You Want It” is in rotation on iHeartCountry Radio stations nationwide, and is also available for purchase and on streaming services.
At the end of last year, Rascal Flatts released their first holiday album, The Greatest Gift of All. They also recently celebrated exceeding 10 million ticket sales as 2016 came to a close. The trio has a number of tour dates scheduled in 2017, the next at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on January 9th.
