UPDATE: Frank Ocean has canceled his upcoming headlining performance at Sasquatch “due to production delays beyond his control.” LCD Soundsystem fresh off the release of two new songs, will replace him.
Frank Ocean, Chance the Rapper and Twenty One Pilots top the bill at this year’s edition of the Sasquatch Festival. The headliners will join an eclectic mix of rockers (White Lung, MGMT), producers (Bonobo, Kaytranada), rappers (Aesop Rock, Mac Miller), soul singers (Charles Bradley), indie acts (Car Seat Headrest, The Radio Dept.) and young artists with pop radio hits (Kiiara). The festival will take place over Memorial Day weekend, May 26th through 28th, at the Gorge in Quincy, WA.
Ocean’s presence at Sasquatch was confirmed last year when the singer announced his first live dates since 2014. In addition to playing at the Gorge, he will appear at Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival and New York’s Panorama Festival.
Sasquatch! is the latest in a string of upcoming high-profile appearances for Chance the Rapper. The Chicago MC is set to appear at Bonnaroo the weekend of June 8th alongside U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Weeknd and will headline Governors Ball in New York one week earlier with Tool, Lorde and Phoenix.
The festival, now in its 16th year, will also include non-musical entertainment, including comedians Fred Armisen and Sasheer Zamata.
Tickets for Sasquatch go on sale via the festival’s website on Saturday, January 28th at 10 a.m. PST.
