Does Odell Beckham Jr. Hold New York Giants Back?
Maybe the Justin Bieber curse does have legs to it after all.
Over the weekend, the New York Giants saw their NFL season come to a close with a 38-13 loss to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. While the blame doesn’t necessarily fall onto the shoulders of one or two players for the Giants, many were quick to point to the team’s mini-vacation to Miami last weekend, where the likes of Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz partied it up with Justin Bieber and Trey Songz.
Twitter had a field day messing with the yacht photo that went viral, and Trey Songz even weighed in on the subject – probably in an effort to get angry Giants fans out of his mentions.
DB’s weren’t on the yacht. Just a lil FYI

Since Beckham was at the center of all the controversy, all eyes were on him on Sunday. For example, Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis said on NFL GameDay Morning before the game that Beckham is a “great player” and a “truly special” talent but he can be a cancer to the Giants when he doesn’t have his emotions in check.
“It’s very important for him this weekend to make sure that he controls his emotions,” Davis said. “Whenever he goes out and he plays and he controls his emotions, he’s huge for that team. But when he goes out and he allows his emotions to get the best of him, he’s a cancer for that football team and you can see it. It’s evident.”
Davis then went on to talk about the time Beckham got into it with Josh Norman in 2015 to prove his point. Also helping his case? Beckham was found banging his head against a door following the loss to the Packers. He also allegedly punched a hole in a wall, although Beckham was reportedly “calm and composed” with the media just before the incident.
Unfortunately for Beckham, he can expect a lot more of that type of criticism coming his way now that their season is over.
