Watch ‘Man in the High Castle’ Cast Laugh Off WTF Fan Theories
The Man in the High Castle, Amazon’s alternative history series, envisions a dystopia in which the Axis powers prevailed in World War II. With an excess of political intrigue to unpack in Season Two, four primary cast members – Alexa Davalos, Luke Kleintank, Brennan Brown and Joel de la Fuente – laughed off Rolling Stone‘s outrageous guesses as the whewre the show is headed in the latest installment of our web series “Fan Theory Exploder.”
Joel de La Fuente, who plays the vicious Inspector Kido, joked about the “spoiler” that his character will “follow an extremely zen path, torturing Frank with his overly positive vibes.”
Davalos poked fun at Kleintank for confusing himself with his character in a theory about Joe “[infiltrating] a new group of rebels – the burgeoning underground rock and roll scene.” (Whether real or fictionalized, Kleintank is cool with the idea: “I think this theory is rock and roll.”)
Between questions about a “forged Japanese Mickey Mouse watch” and DJ Qualls’ Ed McCarthy being “the most delightful person in the dystopia,” one proposition scared Davalos deeply: “In seeking asylum, Juliana will unwittingly end up in an actual asylum.”
“I fucking hope not,” the actress admitted over Leintank’s giggling. “But it feels like that kind of, doesn’t it, in a way?”
The Man in the High Castle Season Two premiered last week on Amazon.
