Watch the Lox Burn Man Alive in Chilling ‘Don’t You Cry’ Video
The LOX kidnap a man and burn him alive in the hardcore video for new single “Don’t You Cry.” The violent clip promotes the Yonkers trio’s first new album in 16 years, Filthy America…It’s Beautiful. The group also released a Soundcloud preview of another track, “Secure the Bag,” featuring Gucci Mane.
The group – Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P – issued the hard-hitting “Don’t You Cry” in early December, along with “What Else You Need to Know,” which references the LOX’s signature appearance on Puff Daddy’s “It’s All About the Benjamins.” Filthy America features production from DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Dame Grease, along with guest spots from Fetty Wap and Gucci Mane.
The LOX took a 12-year hiatus following their second LP, 2000’s We Are the Streets. The trio returned with their surprise 2013 EP, The Trinity, and released new track “New York” the following year.
The group’s resurgence continued in 2016. They performed in Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Family Reunion tour and released two new songs: “What Happens” and the Rick Ross-featured “Feel My Pain.”
