See ‘SNL’ Parody ‘Love Actually’ in Hillary Clinton Sketch
Hillary Clinton makes a last-minute plea to one Electoral College voter in a Saturday Night Live parody of the 2003 rom-com Love Actually.
In the “Hillary Actually” sketch, Kate McKinnon reprises the Clinton role to pop up on an electorate’s doorstep with a boombox playing Christmas carols and cue cards that urge the voter to have a change of heart before the Electoral College meets on Monday to choose the next President of the United States.
Without speaking, Clinton unselfishly asks the voter to choose anybody else – “John Kasich… Tom Hanks… Zendaya… The Rock… a rock” – besides Trump, even though Clinton says he won the election fairly (cough, because of Russia.)
Clinton also unleashes one massive cue card pinpointing 16 reasons why the Electoral College should band against Trump, including “He won’t acknowledge Aleppo but he tweets about Saturday Night Live,” “He doesn’t know how the government works” and “He met with Kanye West this week.”
While there is a sweet sentimentality to this Love Actually spoof, Clinton warns on her final cue cards, “If Donald Trump becomes president… he will kill us all.”
