Hear Nicki Minaj’s Playful ‘Ain’t Gone Do It’ From ‘Empire’ Mobile Game
Nicki Minaj‘s mobile game The Empire was (prematurely) released Tuesday, with the singer including the bouncy new track titled “Ain’t Gone Do It” alongside the app.
“Who the fuck told you to not have no chill? / Who the fuck told you we splittin’ that bill? / Who the fuck told you that I’m in the hood? / When you know fuckin’ right I’m in Beverly Hills,” Minaj raps on her verse. “Spur of the moment, I ball like Ginobili / ESPN photoshootin’ with Kobe / You Photoshop bitches be needin’ Adobe.”
As part of The Empire, players are able to record their own verses alongside Minaj’s on the new cut; the version of “Ain’t Gone Do It” above has a few placeholder verses from unknown vocalists following Minaj’s turn.
The Empire, conceived by the same company behind Kim Kardashian’s ultra-popular Hollywood game, allows gamers a glimpse into life as hip-hop royalty, as evidenced by the game’s trailer:
“Ain’t Gone Do It” is the second new song in as many months for Minaj, who released her “Black Beatles” remix “Black Barbies,” one of Rolling Stone‘s 50 Best Songs of 2016, in November.
