PJ Harvey Plots Biggest North American Tour in Decade
Fresh off earning a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album, PJ Harvey will embark on her most extensive North American tour in over a decade as she continues to showcase her new LP The Hope Six Demolition Project.
Harvey’s month-long, 15-date tour kicks off April 13th at Toronto’s Massey Hall then treks westward – including a April 20th stop at New York’s new Brooklyn Steel venue – until concluding May 12th at Los Angeles’ the Greek Theatre.
Harvey has also begun plotting her summer festival schedule, beginning with Louisville, Kentucky’s Forecastle Festival in July.
Pre-sale tickets for the spring tour go on sale December 8th, with the general on-sale beginning December 9th. In August, Harvey played a pair of shows in Los Angeles and New York, her first U.S. shows in five years.
Harvey’s Hope Six Demolition Project will face off against David Bowie’s Blackstar, Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool, Bon Iver’s 22, A Million and Iggy Pop’s Post Pop Depression for the Best Alternative Music Album Grammy.
