Watch Wes Anderson’s Christmas-Inspired Short Film ‘Come Together’
Director Wes Anderson reunites with his The Darjeeling Limited actor Adrien Brody – as well as that film’s train motif – for an uplifting, Christmas-inspired new short film titled Come Together that doubles as an advertisement for H&M’s winter collection.
In the four-minute-long film, Brody is a train conductor tasked with delivering his passengers a “small complimentary Christmas brunch including chocolate-flavored hot beverage with whipped topping” after poor weather delays their arrival past December 25th.
With just construction paper, scissors, some Santa hats and his trusty assistant porter Fritz, Brody’s conductor transforms the dining car into a worthwhile celebration that captures the spirit of Christmas, with some perfectly scored assistance from John Lennon’s classic “Happy Xmas (War Is Over).”
Anderson has previously filmed commercials for American Express, Prada and Stella Artois. The director’s last film was 2014’s The Grand Budapest Hotel.
