Watch Van Morrison Breeze Through Wistful ‘Every Time I See a River’ Video
Van Morrison cruises through a live performance of “Every Time I See a River” in the new video for the cut off latest LP, Keep Me Singing.
The clip finds Morrison helming the smooth, bluesy track with polished aplomb. Over the silky instrumentation of his backing band, Morrison bounces between a belt and a croon, unspooling the nostalgic love song that was co-written with acclaimed lyricist Don Black.
Morrison released Keep Me Singing, his 36th studio album, in September. Morrison produced the LP, which features 12 original songs alongside a cover of the blues standard, “Share Your Love With Me,” dedicated to Bobby Bland, the first artist to record the song.
Morrison has a handful of live dates in the U.K. scheduled for this fall and winter, though he’s set to return to the United States next year. He’ll play two shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas January 13th and 14th before a three night stand at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida, January 17th through 19th.
