Watch Alluring First Trailer for ‘Fifty Shades Darker’
The first official trailer for Fifty Shades Darker — the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey — has been released. A cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” by Miguel soundtracks the clip. It mirrors the slowed down remix of “Crazy” used in original first Fifty Shades of Grey trailers.
The film sequel of the romance phenomenon explores Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) trying to rekindle his troubled relationship with Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). He woos her with a new arrangement that leaves behind Grey’s dominant side. Over the course of the clip, they’re seen attending a masquerade and dealing with what appears to be several women from Grey’s past who have also tried to “save him” as one says.
Like Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker will be released on Valentine’s Day. The films are based of E. L. James’ best-selling trilogy of the same name. The film was a box office success with an acclaimed soundtrack — Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” garnered her a Golden Globe nomination while the Weeknd’s “Earned It” received an Oscar nomination.
