Watch YG Flip ‘F–k Donald Trump’ Into Campaign Attack Ad
YG spit fire at the GOP presidential nominee in March with “FDT (Fuck Donald Trump),” a funky collaboration with Nipsey Hussle. Now, the rapper has escalated his anti-Trump platform with a mock attack ad released by Genius, reciting the song’s outraged lyrics from behind a podium.
“I like white folks, but I don’t like you,” YG begins, spelling out his numerous issues with the real estate mogul – like being “racist” and kicking black students out of his rallies. “I’m ’bout to turn Black Panther,” the rapper warns. “Don’t let Donald Trump win, that nigga cancer.”
But YG mostly lets Trump speak for himself, incorporating several controversial video clips, including the Republican calling for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S., failing to condemn white supremacist David Duke, mocking a reporter with a disability and singling out a rally attendee as “my African-American.” The rapper ends the clip with an appropriate gesture: a middle finger aimed at the camera.
YG released his second LP, Still Brazy, this month. His ongoing “Endless Summer” tour with G-Eazy and Logic stretches out until early August.
Longtime Trump enemy Mac Miller recently unveiled a goofy promo video for his breakout track “Donald Trump,” forcing the politician to parody himself by “rapping” the lyrics through edited rally footage.
