‘Donald Trump’ Talks Melania’s Speech, Dances Like Michael Jackson on ‘Fallon’
In a hilarious fake RNC address from Tuesday’s Tonight Show, “Donald Trump” (Jimmy Fallon) defended wife Melania against accusations of plagiarizing Michelle Obama. “Did you see Melania?” he asked behind a fake RNC podium. “She stole the show – literally. I mean, she delivered her speech like a true First Lady – that First Lady being Michelle Obama, but still. She might have plagiarized, but you’ve gotta admit, she did it ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger.'”
After walking onstage (to Brian May’s dismay) to Queen’s “We Are the Champions” (then absurdly breakdancing to Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal”), “Trump” also thanked actor Scott Baio, who spoke at Monday’s RNC kick-off. “Wasn’t his speech great?” he asked the audience. Wasn’t it fantastic and huge? I loved it so much, I’m going to put Charles in Charge of the nuclear launch codes.”
Acknowledging the home turf of the 2016 RNC, fake-Trump shouted-out Cleveland’s “great football team, the Cleveland Browns” and “Paul Ryan’s great intern team, the Cleveland Whites.” He also snuck in a jab at former potential running mate Chris Christie and his “great running mate, What’s His Face.”
Donald Trump‘s wife Melania has been accused of plagiarizing parts of her Republican National Convention speech from Michelle Obama. Watch here.
