Hear Ariana Grande’s Previously Unreleased Song ‘Voodoo Love’
Ariana Grande has shared two tracks with fans via SoundCloud, including the previously unreleased “Voodoo Love.” The singer also shared the original version of her Yours Truly track “OG Honeymoon Avenue” which features the Dap-Kings.
Like the original “OG Honeymoon Avenue,” “Voodoo Love” was intended for Grande’s 2013 debut. The demo is one of her more bubblegum-pop songs with her gently threatening her lover that she’ll do whatever it takes to keep him from leaving her.
Unlike the album version of “OG Honeymoon Avenue,” which is a slowed-down doo-wop ballad, the original demo is more upbeat and horn-heavy. The studio version features more string instruments and a chorus of voices in the background.
Grande released her third album, Dangerous Woman, in May. On the LP, she ventured further away from the throwback soul and pop she created for her debut and even part of her sophomore album My Everything. The more EDM and hip-hop-leaning Dangerous Woman featured guest spots from Macy Gray, Future, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.
