Watch Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel Return to Couples Counseling
Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel gave couples counseling a second chance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday in another attempt to resolve their longstanding “feud.”
The ongoing spat stems from Kimmel’s constant failure to make time for Damon to appear as a guest on his show. As a result, the actor has taken desperate measures, like living in the Live studio, tying Kimmel up and trying to sneak onto the show stuffed inside Ben Affleck’s jacket.
Though the pair’s previous attempt at therapy ended in an awkward half-hug, half-fight, Damon and Kimmel tried again to get over their relationship issues so the actor could promote his new movie, Jason Bourne. Kimmel, however, was unreceptive to the idea and slammed Damon’s marketing campaign for the movie: Bumper stickers that read, “Honk If You’re Bourney.”
After more bickering, Damon and Kimmel’s counselor suggested the pair try an art therapy exercise where they would sketch out how they viewed and felt about each other. Damon quickly offered up an interpretation of Jimmy Kimmel Live — a crude sketch of a man with a butt for a face — while Kimmel fired back with, simply, a penis.
