See Gucci Mane, Young Thug Throw Pool Party to Celebrate ‘Guwop Home’
Following a two-year prison stint, Gucci Mane returns July 22nd with his post-incarceration LP Everybody Looking, his first non-mixtape in five years. Featured on the “homecoming” album is “Guwop Home,” Gucci’s collaboration with Young Thug, the most high profile rapper to emerge out of Atlanta while Gucci was behind bars.
The two rappers celebrate Gucci’s release in the new video where they host a mansion pool party. “Guwop Home” boasts an overload of bikinis, producer Mike Will Made It jamming out on his MPC poolside, stacks of cash and a scantily clad night soccer game, all to commemorate the release of the Trap God.
Gucci Mane has been his usually prolific self since release, dropping tracks like the comeback single “1st Day Out da Feds,” recruiting Drake for “Back on Road,” reanimating a Tupac verse for “On Me” and joining Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music crew for the first Cruel Winter single. Gucci and Young Thug previously teamed on the 2014 mixtape Young Thugga Mane La Flare.
Everybody Looking, recorded in six days following his prison release, features production from Mike WiLL Made It, Zaytoven and Drumma Boy as well as a visit by Kanye West on the track “Pussy Print.”
