Watch Stephen Colbert’s ‘Cameo’ in Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ Video
Following the premiere of Kanye West‘s risqué “Famous” visual – in which Kanye, Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump, and other celebrities sleep naked in the same bed – Colbert was only offended that his cameo was edited out.
Colbert said that he saved the unedited version of the video. As the camera slides from one famous face to the next, Colbert eventually enters the frame: he’s stuck all the way on the side, next to Anna Wintour and George W. Bush. While the other celebrities snore contentedly, Colbert is wide-awake and munching on Saltines. “I wish you could smell it in here,” he jokes. “It is like a cage at the zoo. They’re gonna have to burn this bed.”
Stephen Colbert poked fun at the bed – “If that’s memory foam, that bed is gonna have PTSD” – and its inhabitants: “The consensus is that most of the celebrities aren’t real, just wax or silicone imitations. So, celebrities.”
Jimmy Kimmel had the same idea as Colbert, though Kimmel’s sidekick Guillermo gets the honor of joining the slumber party. “That’s the most star-studded ad for a Sleep Number mattress I’ve ever seen,” Kimmel exclaims.
