Craig Morgan on New Season of ‘All Access Outdoors’
Craig Morgan wears a lot of hats: singer, songwriter, military veteran, husband, father, grandfather, police deputy, EMT, motivational speaker, philanthropist and, last but not least, host of his own TV show. Season Seven of Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors premieres July 1st, and the industrious entertainer tells us he filmed adventures a little outside his comfort zone this time around.
“I went to Hawaii and hunted something I’ve never hunted before, and people might be a little disturbed if they don’t understand it. They’ve really got to watch the whole show,” Morgan tells Rolling Stone Country. “We hunted Vancouver bull, a wild bull in the mountains of Hawaii. And these things are like ghosts, they’re super quiet but really aggressive. They can move through these lava mountains and super thick forest and you can’t see ’em. They’ve been wild in these mountains since the 1800s and absolutely devastate the property. The state wants them completely removed. But the populus is saying no, even though they’re not indigenous, it’s not right to just kill them all out like that. Let’s manage them.
“But they roar, a lot like a stag – this awful Sasquatch sound,” he continues with a laugh. “If you were hunting Bigfoot, you would go there and think you were that close to Sasquatch.”
Season Seven of the show also takes Morgan to New Zealand and Vancouver, among other places, as he not only hunts but also documents activities including bike racing, golfing, time with his family and, of course, playing shows. Celebrity guests making cameos this season include Blake Shelton, Easton Corbin, NBA star David Miller, the Cincinnati Bengals’ Tyler Eifert, and author and military veterans’ family activist Taya Kyle.
Catch Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors in its new time slot: Friday at 7 p.m. ET, starting July 1st on the Outdoor Channel.
